To enhance exposure of Māori in the arena of performing arts, language and culture

  • To energize, liberate and educate all people by providing a positive environment in which to learn

Background

WaaHuu Creations was established in Wellington in 1999. The Directors are Toni Huata and Adrian Wagner. Internationally, WaaHuu Creations have developed markets throughout the USA, Europe, Pacific and Asia. WaaHuu was represented at the Womex World Music Expo in Spain, Hungary, Wales, Germany and Rotterdam (16-01), AWME (Melbourne 15 - 12). They are also the first company to have a Māori artist - Toni Huata - headline at the world-renowned jazz club, Ronnie Scotts, in London.

Core business: 

Production management, direction, music, drama & voice-over performance; vocal, drama & performance training; team building, motivational speaking, Māori culture, music and movement workshop facilitation; and retail.
